This collection was inspired by a quote from an old college friend, “Spring will always follow the winter of your life.” When I read it, I was in the midst of a deep transition. Life felt like one long dark winter night. Nothing was changing. I could not see the forest from the trees. But the thought of a return of spring, life anew, kept me going. This collection is inspired by that “in-between.”

I wanted to design a collection that honors this season where although Spring has arrived, snow is still very possible. The air still carries a chill. But the shift into spring means the birds have returned. The light lingers a bit longer. Life is awakening again.

Working primarily with greens, foliage, and restrained white florals, these designs reflect what happens before bloom. This collection reflects the quiet work of becoming. Drawing from the language of sympathy floral design, each piece leans into space, texture, and intention asking us to acknowledge that beauty exists not only in arrival, but in transition.
